Xiaomi POCO F1 Launched in India - The First Liquid Cooled Phone?
Xiaomi launched its 1st self-proclaimed liquid cooled smartphone in New Delhi today. Soon after the new Oppo Find X and the VIVO Nex launched, every smartphone manufacturers are striving hard to come up with new and unique technologies.
So here’s what Xiaomi did to attract the consumers by focusing more on gamers and introducing the liquid cooling technology in a smartphone. The POCO F1 will come in 4 different variants and the base model starts with just ₹20,999. The top model costs around ₹29,999 which may impact directly on Oneplus 6 sales.
Now, expecting a smartphone with the flagship 845 processor in just ₹20,999 is a real jaw dropping factor in smartphone market. Checkout the tweet by POCO India which revealed all variants with its prices.
India will be the 1st country where the POCO F1 will be launched. So far there are no concrete plans to launch the device in the US.
Speaking about other features, Xiaomi has also taken good care of key factors such as camera and screen size alongside. It’s got a 6.18-inch full HD display holding an aspect ratio of 18.7:1. Churning the gaming experience, the phone has Adreno 630 GPU which will work in accordance with the liquid cooled processor for buttery smooth gaming.
Things are not over yet, the POCO F1 is equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie cam, and dual 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear cameras with AI technology. This has 25 modes for food photos, landscapes and much more.
On the software side, the smartphone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with a 9.6 MIUI skin on the top. Company has said that it will get updated to MIUI version 10 by next month.
To handle long run usage time and gaming, POCO F1 is boosted with a sufficient 4000mAh battery so that you can play games like PUBG for more hours. Other features includes USB Type-C charging port and Bluetooth 5.0.
The phone will be out in the market by end of august via Flipkart. It will be very early to say about its benchmarks and performance. But specs wise the smartphone looks promising.
