Tata Showcases Its New Bulged SUV The H5X in Auto Expo 2018
Tata Motors has been struggling in the Indian automobile market since past few years. But it seems that the manufacturer is not going to put his guard down when it raised the curtain from the new SUV concept which was in rumour for few weeks. Named the H5X which is all set to launch in 2019.
For instance, we felt that our eyes got caught on a Range Rover sibling but the very next moment we found out that it was a new addition to the Tata family. Well, that doesn’t matter as both companies reside under the same roof.
Talking about the H5X concept, the SUV will carry the new Impact Design 2.0 that gives a beast look unlike other SUVs from Tata. The huge wheel arches over the 22-inch wheels make it stand up to the mark and out of the crowd. The A-Pillar that starts from the front nicely goes back tailoring the roof and merges with the C pillar at the back. The high-set LED headlamps cleanly matches with the front grill resembling Cheetah’s brows with Tata logo at the centre.
The actual production H5X is planned to build on Land Rover's L550 platform and is expected to have Fiat’s Multijet II diesel engine under the hood. So far so good, unless Tata doesn’t alter much with the concept and provides the same in the actual production SUV. The SUV will hit the road in 2019.
